Summer Farm
VOTE TO LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE

Promises Made.
Promises Delivered.

Everything I campaigned on and heard from the residents from Speed Mitigation to Prime Farmland protection to "We NEED more things to do in town" was actioned and delivered in various significant levels.

This was just the start. I have spent 4 years working with the public to keep BWG small town vibe while managing the "Right Growth" for the people who LIVE here.

Joseph Giordano for Deputy Mayor of Bradford (BWG).

Bradford councillor Joseph Giordano

TRUSTED, TRANSPARENT, REAL and ON-POINT.

I’ve always believed that trust is earned through action, transparency, and showing up for the community every single day. As Councillor, I’ve worked to bring forward honest conversations, ask difficult questions when needed, and help set a higher standard for accountability and engagement in BWG. Running for Deputy Mayor is about continuing that work... building a more open, connected, and forward-thinking municipality where residents feel informed, respected, and proud of the direction our community should be heading.

THE PEOPLE TESTIMONIES, TRUST AND SUPPORT IS WHAT MATTERS MOST

"We have lived in this community for 37 years. In that time, we’ve seen Bradford grow, but what is coming now is significant change. Most of us moved here to escape the city and find a true home—a place where community matters and we can safely raise our families. We need strong leadership to guide our community through these changes while maintaining the small-town feeling that brought us here in the first place.

Joe Giordano understands this balance. He has a vision that ensures growth is managed in a way that works for us, not against us. Joe doesn’t just talk; he listens, he cares, and his total transparency is exactly what we need during this transition. He has the integrity to put our families and our home at the center of every decision. That is why Joe has our full support for Deputy Mayor."

From: Helan & David Crocker, Bradford

You have our support as well. Go Joe, go!

Your transparent approach to community members concerns & engagement online regarding issues within our town & council itself are much appreciated.

You have also directly answered many questions I've ever seen posed to you in community groups with appropriate follow up, as well. That is something I can truly appreciate. Looking forward to your new role!

You truly deserve the win! More than happy to back someone who actually cares about the town & its future. Thank You!

Unsolicited. Alexandra M.   Bradford

No one has ever worked as Hard as you do to bring people into the know and to share how and why things happen.

Unsolicited. From:  Dr. E.Basso, Bradford

We are very appreciated of how you managed growth while protecting the legacy of Bradford (small town and farming community), while adding value to families and youth. Keep it up!

Unsolicited. Joanne G. Bradford

We stand with Joseph Giordano as he runs for Deputy Mayor. In a time when we need leaders who are genuine, compassionate, and deeply committed to our community, he stands out as the right choice.

He is a devoted family man who understands the real challenges families face today - from keeping our neighbourhoods safe and our kids active, to building a community where everyone can thrive. He leads with heart, wearing it proudly on his sleeve. What you see is what you get with him: honesty, passion, logic, and a willingness to listen. In his role as Councillor he has proven this explicitly. You have our support.

Unsolicited. Mary Marques

That’s $1.4 million in real savings,” Giordano said. “This is tangible real dollars. Also read this article on why I pushed for going to market for better rates.

Council approved a motion by Giordano to create an education partnership committee

"while the site wasn’t proposed for agricultural land and council is “growth oriented,” the proposal wasn’t the right type of growth for the town."

The councillor, in whose ward the site is located, said he’s been “pushing hard” for this project ever since he was elected in 2022 and “couldn’t be happier” to see construction get underway for something which will not only “significantly” impact the neighbourhood, but which “benefits the entire town.”

Voted NO: Giordano’s support hinged on exploring a method he felt could significantly lessen the burden for Bradford ratepayers: a public-private partnership (P3).

“A public-private partnership is absolutely viable, in my opinion,” he said. “There are literally investors that are lined up looking for … blue chip municipalities to invest in.”

The recommendations from the strategic initiatives committee did not include P3 as an option in the tendering process.

Giordano saw lines 5 and 9 as “natural deviations” between which development should be focused out toward Highway 400 before expanding north or south.

For the next 50 years or so, I don’t want to touch anything south of the 5th and north of the 9th,” he said.

Not everyone was happy with the proposal though, and Ward 4 Coun. Joseph Giordano reiterated his concerns that a storage facility isn’t the right type of development for a “prime retail location.”

“I’m completely against this project,” he said.

On Nov 5th 2024 “I don’t see a strong community benefit to the taxpayers for a storage facility in a prime retail location,” Ward 4 Coun. Joseph Giordano said.  Click here
